Description
The GDGC-600T is a high-performance embedded power quality & fault disturbance recorder designed for all voltage levels in power systems—covering transmission lines, generator-transformer units, transformers, and protection circuits. It integrates 32-channel analog + 32-channel digital acquisition, 32-bit DSP + FPGA processing, and 16-bit high-precision A/D to deliver 10kHz adjustable sampling, 99th harmonic analysis, and 0.1ms switching event resolution.
Built on the VxWorks real-time OS, it ensures stable, reliable, low-latency operation. Unique dual data storage (CPU + host) safeguards critical fault data against loss. Using A-B-C full-sampling recording (no low-speed D/E segments), it enables complete phasor and impedance analysis from all recorded data. Ideal for long-term steady-state monitoring, transient fault recording, post-fault analysis, and generator characteristic testing in substations, power plants, and industrial grids.

Applications
Core Monitoring Objects
· Transmission lines: 10kV–500kV fault recording & analysis
· Generator-transformer units: Generator excitation, short-circuit, no-load tests
· Transformers: Inrush, overcurrent, winding fault recording
· Substation DC systems: Protection & breaker operation monitoring
· Industrial grids: Power quality monitoring, harmonic analysis, energy audit
Typical Usage Scenarios
· Fault post-analysis: Locate cause, type, and time of failure (power system “black box”)
· Acceptance & commissioning: Generator/transformer test data recording
· Routine maintenance: Long-term trend tracking, early anomaly warning
· Protection coordination: Verify relay operation sequence & timing
· Power quality improvement: Identify harmonic sources & unbalance
Advantages
All-In-One Recorder & Analyzer
32CH analog + 32CH digital → one device replaces multiple recorders
Full-Sampling A-B-C Recording
No low-speed segments → complete phasor/impedance analysis for every fault
Dual Storage, Zero Data Loss
CPU + host backup → critical fault data safe even if one part fails
High Precision & Fast Response
10kHz, 99th harmonic, 0.1ms events → lab-grade accuracy in the field
FAQ
Q: Can it record both steady-state and fault waveforms?
A: Yes. It supports days of continuous steady-state recording and automatic high-speed transient recording when faults occur.
Q: What formats does it export for analysis?
A: COMTRADE (standard), plus Word/Excel reports and JPG waveforms via PC software.
Q: Is it suitable for generator commissioning tests?
A: Absolutely. It has built-in templates for no-load, short-circuit, excitation, and de-excitation tests.
Q: Does it work in strong electromagnetic interference environments?
A: Yes. Metal shielding, isolated channels, and VxWorks real-time OS ensure stable operation in substations.
