Description

MOA-301 is a professional cost-effective single-phase zinc oxide surge arrester (MOA) comprehensive tester designed for daily inspection, routine maintenance and fault diagnosis of 10kV~110kV zinc oxide arresters in small and medium substations, distribution networks and industrial enterprises. It strictly complies with DL/T 987-2018, GB 11032-2010 and IEC 60099-4:2014 standards, adopting advanced digital waveform analysis technology and FFT harmonic analysis algorithm that effectively eliminates power frequency interference and accurately measures the resistive current component, the key indicator for evaluating arrester health state.
The instrument features innovative wired/wireless dual voltage sampling mode with 400 meters wireless transmission distance, eliminating the need for long cable laying in substations. It supports comprehensive parameter measurement including full current, resistive current (fundamental and 3/5/7 harmonics), capacitive current, power consumption and phase difference. The large backlit LCD display provides intuitive operation and real-time display of test parameters and waveforms.

A: Yes. MOA-301 supports no-PT test mode, which uses software algorithm to generate a virtual voltage reference based on the current waveform. This mode is suitable for field tests where PT voltage is unavailable, providing a convenient solution for emergency maintenance.

Q: What is the significance of measuring resistive current harmonics?

A: When zinc oxide arresters are internally moistened or valve plates are aged, the nonlinear characteristics of the valve plates will change, leading to a significant increase in the 3rd harmonic component of resistive current. By measuring the harmonic components, we can identify early defects that cannot be detected by total current measurement, preventing sudden failures.

Q: How to calibrate the instrument?

A: MOA-301 can be calibrated using standard current sources and standard voltage sources with accuracy not lower than 0.2 class. The calibration procedure is simple and fast:
