Description

The GDB-D is a high-precision, cost-effective basic transformer test instrumentexclusively designed for fast and accurate measurement of turns ratio, vector group, polarity and phase angle difference of power transformers. It fully complies with DL/T 963-2005, GB 50150-2016 and IEC 60076-1:2022 standards, adopting advanced digital synthesized three-phase power supply and full-digitized sampling technology to eliminate power supply harmonic interference and ensure stable and reliable test results.
The instrument features an all-in-one integrated design with a built-in three-phase test power supply, eliminating the need for external auxiliary equipment. Equipped with a 7-inch high-resolution color touch screen and intuitive graphical interface, it supports one-time wiring to complete all test items including three-phase turns ratio, vector group, polarity and phase angle difference. It can automatically calculate turns ratio error and judge pass/fail according to standards. With a built-in 7.4V/6Ah lithium battery, it can work continuously for more than 4 hours without external power supply, making it ideal for on-site testing. Ideal for transformer factory outgoing inspection, power company on-site maintenance, third-party testing institution on-site acceptance and industrial enterprise transformer commissioning tests.

Applications

Core Test Objects

  • Power transformers: 10kV-220kV oil-immersed power transformers (up to 120MVA)
  • Distribution transformers: 10kV/35kV oil-immersed and dry-type distribution transformers
  • Special transformers: rectifier transformers, furnace transformers, traction transformers, Z-type grounding transformers
  • Instrument transformers: current transformers (CT) and voltage transformers (VT)
  • Single-phase transformers: pole-mounted transformers, lighting transformers

Typical Usage Scenarios

  • Transformer manufacturing plants: factory acceptance tests (FAT) of distribution transformers
  • Power companies: on-site preventive maintenance tests of substation transformers
  • Third-party testing institutions: on-site acceptance and compliance testing
  • Industrial and mining enterprises: transformer commissioning and preventive maintenance
  • Power plants: generator transformer and auxiliary transformer tests
  • Technical schools and universities: teaching and demonstration experiments

FAQ

Q: What vector groups does GDB-D support?

A: It supports all common transformer vector groups including Dyn11, Yyn0, Yd11, YNd11, Yy0, Dd0, Znyn11, etc. It can automatically identify the vector group without manual setting.

Q: Can it test on-load tap-changing transformers?

A: Yes. It supports continuous test of all taps of on-load tap-changing transformers. You can directly switch taps during the test without discharging the transformer, which greatly improves test efficiency.

Q: What is the test speed?

A: It takes ≤10 seconds to complete a three-phase test and ≤3 seconds to complete a single-phase test, which is 70% faster than traditional single-phase testers.
