Description

The GDFR-C5-1200kV is a national-grade traceable impulse voltage standard designed for accurate measurement of lightning impulse (1.2/50μs) and switching impulse (250/2500μs) voltages in 750kV and below extra-high-voltage (EHV) laboratories, power equipment manufacturers, and on-site substation tests. It fully complies with DL/T 846.1-2016 and IEC 60060-2:2010, adopting three-stage series-connected high-voltage pulse capacitors and integrated multistage distributed damping resistors to achieve excellent step response characteristics and minimal waveform distortion, ensuring true reproduction of fast transient impulse waveforms.

The system consists of a heavy-duty oil-immersed divider unit with a double-layer stainless steel grading ring and a low-voltage interface compatible with all mainstream impulse analyzers and oscilloscopes, with a standard 10000:1 voltage divider ratio (custom ratios available). It features ≤5pC partial discharge at rated voltage and ≤0.3% annual ratio stability, making it suitable for both impulse withstand voltage tests of EHV equipment and traceable calibration of impulse voltage generators. With a heavy-duty mobile base with locking casters and high-purity epoxy glass fiber insulation cylinder, it is ideal for laboratory and on-site testing of 750kV GIS, power transformers, zinc oxide arresters (MOA), and insulators.

FAQ

Q: Can it measure both lightning and switching impulse voltages?

A: Yes. It is designed for 1.2/50μs lightning impulse and 250/2500μs switching impulse voltage measurement, with excellent performance for both waveforms.

Q: What is the step response time and overshoot?

A: ≤80ns step response time and ≤5% overshoot, meeting IEC 61083-2 Class 1 requirements, which is the highest accuracy class for impulse dividers.

Q: Is it suitable for calibrating impulse voltage generators?

A: Yes. ±0.5% accuracy and ≤0.3% annual stability make it a national-grade traceable standard for impulse voltage generator calibration.
