FAQ
Q: Can it test transformer differential protection?
A: Yes. RPT-802 has a dedicated transformer differential protection test module that supports two-winding and three-winding transformer differential protection tests, including ratio braking characteristic test, harmonic restraint test and differential quick-break test. The 4-phase voltage output can accurately simulate the transformer's phase shift and voltage transformation ratio.
Q: Can it output 120A current?
A: Yes. By connecting the three current phases in parallel, RPT-802 can output up to 120A continuous current, which meets the test requirements of high-current protection devices such as bus differential protection and generator differential protection.
Q: Does it support fault playback function?
A: Yes. RPT-802 supports importing COMTRADE format fault recording files and playing back the fault process, which is very useful for analyzing protection device action behavior during actual faults and verifying protection logic.
