Description

The GD6100 is a professional-grade, classic integrated automatic oil dielectric loss and resistivity testerexclusively designed for routine quality assessment of insulating oil used in power transformers, instrument transformers, capacitors and other oil-filled electrical equipment. It fully complies with GB/T 5654-2007, IEC 60247:2004 and DL/T 474.3-2018 standards, adopting an all-in-one design that integrates all necessary components into a single portable chassis.
The instrument features advanced high-frequency induction heating technology that provides uniform and fast heating, reaching 90℃ from room temperature in less than 20 minutes. Its built-in SF6 gas-filled standard capacitor ensures stable and accurate measurement results unaffected by ambient temperature and humidity. With one-click fully automatic operation, it completes the entire test process including temperature rise, constant temperature control, dielectric loss measurement and DC resistivity measurement without manual intervention.

Q: How does the high-frequency induction heating work?

A: High-frequency induction heating uses electromagnetic induction to generate eddy currents in the metal oil cup, heating the oil sample directly from the inside. This provides uniform heating throughout the oil sample with no temperature gradients, no local overheating, and faster heating speed compared to traditional resistance heating.

Q: How often does the standard capacitor need to be calibrated?

A: The GD6100 uses an SF6 gas-filled three-electrode standard capacitor with a dielectric loss of less than 0.0001. Its performance is extremely stable and unaffected by ambient temperature and humidity. Under normal use, it only needs to be calibrated once every 2 years according to national metrology requirements.

Q: Can it test different types of insulating oils?

A: Yes. GD6100 can test all types of liquid insulating materials including transformer oil, switch oil, capacitor oil, cable oil and synthetic insulating oils. It supports test temperatures from room temperature to 100℃, covering all standard test temperatures required by international standards.
