FAQ
Q: What is the difference between GDBR-P and traditional transformer test methods?
A: Traditional transformer capacity and loss tests require multiple pieces of equipment including a three-phase voltage regulator, booster transformer, current booster and power analyzer, which are heavy, bulky and require complex wiring. GDBR-P integrates all functions into one portable instrument with a built-in three-phase test power supply, no external auxiliary equipment needed, one-time wiring completes all tests, and test time is reduced from 2-3 hours to 5-10 minutes.
Q: How does GDBR-P verify transformer capacity authenticity?
A: It has a built-in database of standard transformer parameters for all mainstream models (S7-S25, SCB9-SCB15). It measures the actual no-load loss and load loss of the transformer, automatically corrects them to standard temperature, and compares them with the standard values in the database to determine whether the transformer's rated capacity is authentic.
Q: Can it test transformers without external power supply?
A: Yes. It has a built-in 7.4V/10Ah large-capacity lithium battery that can work continuously for more than 8 hours, making it ideal for remote on-site testing where there is no mains power supply.
Q: Does it support energy efficiency grade determination?
A: Yes. It automatically calculates the energy efficiency grade of the transformer according to the latest GB 20052-2020 and IEC 60076-1 standards, which meets the requirements of global energy efficiency regulations.
Q: What types of transformers can GDBR-P test?
A: It can test all 10kV/35kV transformers with capacity from 10kVA to 10000kVA, including oil-immersed transformers, dry-type transformers and amorphous alloy transformers.
