FAQ

Q: Can GDPV-III test bifacial PV modules?

A: Yes. GDPV-III can test both monofacial and bifacial PV modules. For bifacial modules, it is recommended to measure the irradiance on both front and back surfaces and input the albedo value for more accurate STC correction.

Q: Can GDPV-III test PV strings without disconnecting them from the inverter?

A: No. For safety reasons, PV strings must be disconnected from the inverter and other electrical equipment before testing. The instrument is equipped with comprehensive protection functions including reverse polarity protection and over-voltage protection to prevent damage caused by incorrect connection.
