Description

The GDRB-C is a high-performance, industrial-grade non-destructive transformer test instrumentexclusively designed for high-precision winding deformation detection of 6kV-500kV power transformers. It fully complies with DL/T 911-2016, IEC 60076-18:2012 and IEEE Std C57.149-2012 standards, adopting imported DDS digital sweep frequency technology and dual-channel 16-bit synchronous sampling to achieve ultra-wide frequency coverage and ultra-high test repeatability.
The instrument features an all-in-one industrial PC design with a built-in 8.4-inch high-brightness touch screen and Windows operating system, eliminating the need for external laptops. It supports both linear and segmented sweep modes, with up to 40000 sweep points to capture subtle changes in winding frequency response curves. By comparing the current curve with the baseline curve, it can accurately detect axial displacement, radial bulging, turn-to-turn short circuits, core loosening and other mechanical faults as small as 1mm. Equipped with intelligent analysis software, it automatically calculates correlation coefficients and provides four-level deformation diagnosis results. Ideal for post-short-circuit fault detection, post-transportation acceptance, preventive maintenance tests, factory type tests and third-party certification of large power transformers.

FAQ

Q: What is the difference between GDRB-C and GDRB-B?

A:
  • GDRB-C (Industrial Grade): 10Hz-10MHz sweep range, 40000 sweep points, 99.9% repeatability, built-in industrial PC, no external laptop required, optimized for high-precision laboratory tests and 220kV-500kV EHV transformer on-site tests
  • GDRB-B (Portable Grade): 10Hz-2MHz sweep range, 2000 sweep points, 99.5% repeatability, requires external laptop, built-in 8-hour battery, optimized for 10kV-110kV distribution transformer on-site tests
Both use the frequency response analysis method and meet DL/T 911-2016 standards.

Q: Why is 10MHz sweep range important?

A: Minor winding deformations (such as 1mm axial displacement or partial turn-to-turn short circuits) mainly cause changes in the high-frequency band (above 2MHz). The 10MHz ultra-wide frequency range of GDRB-C can capture these subtle changes, enabling early detection of potential faults that cannot be found by 2MHz instruments.

Q: Does GDRB-C require an external laptop?

A: No. It has a built-in industrial PC with 8.4-inch touch screen and Windows operating system, which can complete all test operations, data analysis and report generation independently, eliminating the need for external laptops and simplifying on-site operation.

Q: What is the test repeatability and why is it important?

A: GDRB-C has an industry-leading 99.9% test repeatability, which means that the test results of the same winding at different times and by different operators are almost identical. This is crucial for long-term winding condition monitoring, as it ensures that any curve changes are caused by actual winding deformation rather than instrument errors.
