Description

The RPT-4632 is a professional-grade, high-power multi-channel pure AC microcomputer relay protection testerexclusively designed for commissioning, testing and maintenance of complex multi-branch protection devices in 220kV and above large substations. It fully complies with DL/T 624-2023, DL/T 995-2016 and IEC 60255-1:2019 standards, adopting an advanced industrial PC+DSP+FPGA triple-core parallel architecture to achieve high-precision, high-stability and high-speed 10-channel synchronous signal output.
The instrument features a unique 4-phase voltage + 6-phase current all-synchronous output design with 0.2% output accuracy, supporting a wide frequency range of 10~1000Hz and 1~30 harmonic superposition. It can accurately simulate various complex power system fault conditions such as busbar short circuit, three-winding transformer internal fault, generator stator ground fault and power oscillation. With over 120 built-in professional test modules, it supports comprehensive testing of all types of complex protection devices including busbar differential protection, three-winding transformer differential protection, generator differential protection, double busbar protection and line longitudinal differential protection.

FAQ

Q: Why do we need 6-phase current output?

A: Many complex protection devices require multiple current inputs:
  • Busbar differential protection needs 6~12 branch current inputs
  • Three-winding transformer differential protection needs high/medium/low voltage side 6 current inputs
  • Double busbar protection needs multiple branch and tie breaker current inputs

Q: What is the function of GPS synchronization?

A: For line longitudinal differential protection, the protection devices on both sides of the transmission line need to operate synchronously. The built-in GPS module of RPT-4632 can synchronize two testers located at both ends of the line with <1ms accuracy, truly simulating internal and external faults of the line and verifying the correct operation of the longitudinal differential protection.

Q: Can it output 180A continuous current?

A: Yes. By connecting the six current phases in parallel, RPT-4632 can output up to 180A continuous current, which meets the test requirements of high-current busbar differential protection and generator differential protection. The output time can be set arbitrarily from 0.1s to 9999s.

Q: Is it suitable for conventional protection testing?

A: Yes.
