Description

HCB-12A is a cost-effective high voltage circuit breaker dynamic characteristic tester designed for routine preventive test, mechanical performance verification and on-site fault diagnosis of medium and high voltage switchgear in substations, power plants, switchgear manufacturers, industrial enterprises and power maintenance teams. It strictly complies with DL/T 846.3-2017, GB/T 1984-2024 and IEC 62271-100:2017 standards, adopting high-speed synchronous acquisition technology and multi-stage anti-interference design that ensures stable and accurate measurement even in 500kV live substation environments with strong electromagnetic interference.
The instrument features 12 independent break channels with 0.1ms sampling resolution, supporting simultaneous test of three-phase multi-break circuit breakers. Its built-in 0V~300V continuously adjustable DC operation power supply with 20A peak output eliminates the need for external control power supply, greatly improving on-site test convenience. It is compatible with both linear displacement sensors and rotary angle sensors, suitable for vacuum, SF6 and oil-minimum circuit breakers with spring, hydraulic and electromagnetic operating mechanisms. It covers full test items including opening/closing time, phase synchronism, contact bounce, travel curve, speed characteristics, coil current waveform and auto-reclosing sequence test.

FAQ

Q: Can HCB-12A work normally in live substation environment?

A: Yes. HCB-12A adopts multi-stage anti-interference design including all-channel photoelectric isolation, hardware low-pass filtering and software digital filtering. It has been verified by field tests that it can stably and accurately measure in 500kV substation bypass bus live environment, without data drift or misjudgment caused by electromagnetic interference.

Q: Does it support auto-reclosing sequence test?

A: Yes. HCB-12A supports multiple operation sequence tests including "close-open", "open-close" and "open-close-open", and the time interval between each action can be set freely. It can simulate the actual auto-reclosing action process of the power system, and test the mechanical action reliability of the circuit breaker under continuous operation.

Q: How to use the built-in operation power supply?

A: The instrument has a built-in DC 0~300V adjustable power supply, which can directly supply power to the circuit breaker opening and closing coils without an external DC control cabinet. Users only need to set the required operation voltage on the menu, and the instrument will output the corresponding voltage to drive the circuit breaker action during the test. It supports programmable output time to meet different test sequence requirements.
