Description
The GDPD-313P/314P is a cost-effective, field-optimized handheld partial discharge detectorexclusively designed for live detection of 10kV-35kV switchgears and ring main units. It fully complies with DL/T 1630-2016, DL/T 1432.3-2016 and IEC 60270:2015 standards, adopting an innovative pistol ergonomic design and integrating TEV transient earth voltage and AE acoustic emission dual detection technologies to achieve non-contact live detection without power outage or climbing.
The instrument is available in two models: GDPD-313P (Basic Type) with built-in TEV and built-in air-coupled ultrasonic sensors, suitable for daily routine inspection; GDPD-314P (Enhanced Type) supports external ultrasonic concentrator, HFCT high-frequency current sensor and UHF ultra-high frequency sensor, which can be extended to detect power cables and GIS equipment. Equipped with a 4.3-inch high-resolution color touch screen, it displays real-time discharge waveform, amplitude and pulse count. The unique three-color early warning system intuitively indicates the defect severity level (green: normal, yellow: attention, red: abnormal). The built-in headphone monitoring function allows operators to distinguish discharge types through auditory characteristics. With a built-in rechargeable lithium battery and ultra-light weight of less than 1kg, it supports one-hand operation and is ideal for all-day on-site inspections. Ideal for power company distribution network inspection, substation switchgear daily maintenance, switchgear factory outgoing inspection and acceptance test.

FAQ
Q: Does the test require power outage?
A: No. GDPD-313P/314P are live detection instruments, which can perform partial discharge detection on operating equipment without power outage, greatly reducing the impact on power supply.
Q: How to judge the severity of defects?
A: The instrument adopts a three-color early warning system:
- Green (normal): TEV <20dB, AE <30dBuV, no obvious discharge signal
- Yellow (attention): TEV 20~30dB, AE 30~40dBuV, weak discharge signal, need to retest within 6 months
- Red (abnormal): TEV >30dB, AE >40dBuV, strong discharge signal, need to arrange power outage maintenance as soon as possible
