FAQ
Q: What is the difference between GD-610C and other ultrasonic PD detectors?
A: GD-610C is specifically designed for remote detection of outdoor and high-altitude equipment. It has a maximum detection distance of 30 meters, supports 30km/h vehicle-mounted inspection, and is equipped with a red laser positioning system. Traditional ultrasonic detectors are mainly used for close-range detection of indoor equipment and cannot meet the needs of transmission line inspection.
Q: Can it detect partial discharge on transmission lines from a moving vehicle?
A: Yes. GD-610C supports 30km/h low-speed vehicle-mounted inspection. It can be installed on the roof of an inspection vehicle and continuously detect partial discharge signals on transmission lines along the way, automatically recording GPS position and abnormal signals. This greatly improves the efficiency of large-scale transmission line inspection.
Q: Does it require professional training to operate?
A: No. GD-610C adopts an intuitive mobile APP operation interface with simple and clear functions. Basic operation can be mastered after simple training. The instrument automatically processes signals and gives alarm prompts, reducing the skill requirements for operators.
Q: Can it distinguish between partial discharge signals and ambient noise?
A: Yes. GD-610C uses a 6° narrow-beam directional ultrasonic sensor and multi-stage digital filtering technology, which can effectively filter out ambient noise such as wind sound and mechanical vibration. It also supports headphone monitoring, allowing operators to distinguish between discharge sound and noise through auditory characteristics.
